Cassatt's cafe features monthly showings of work by members of the Arlington Artists Alliance. Work is available to be purchased or just for a lazy viewing while enjoying a coffee or meal at the cafe.

Art Classes

In addition to the gallery, the Alliance also run art classes for all ages in the downstairs area of Cassatt's. Taught by professional instructors offer a wide selection of day, evening, and weekend courses and workshops in a variety of mediums. The school offers adult, youth and teen classes.

About the Arlington Artists Alliance

The Arlington Artists Alliance is a non-profit organization serving and supporting artists in Arlington County. The Alliance is headquartered at Cassatt's Cafe (703-894-0539) at the Lee Heights Shops. The Alliance holds monthly art exhibits at Cassatt's, as well as at the Gallery Down Under, also at Lee Heights Shops in North Arlington. The Alliance's Art Academy is located at Cassatt's as well. The Alliance also works with participating local businesses, churches, and educational institutions to hold art shows in their spaces. Alliance artists provide artwork and display materials and rotate the art at agreed times.
